Chief Operating Officer, Sky DACH
Dana Filip-Crandall is EVP and Chief Operating Officer, for Sky DACH. In this role she is responsible for the Content, IT, Product delivery and Customer Service Operations for the leading content business across the DACH region.
Dana has more than 30 years of experience in executive management and global operations. Prior to joining Sky, she was SVP Customer Experience and Operations for the West Division of Comcast. In this role she transformed the customer experience by leading dramatic improvement in NPS for this $8B and 10M subscriber business. In the previous assignment she lived abroad and worked as Managing Director and Chief Information Officer of British Telecom (BT). In this role she oversaw software development and management of the network and information technology infrastructure that supported UK and global services for customers generating 20B sterling in revenues.
Prior to BT, Dana held a variety of roles at Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink) including Vice President, Network Staff and Center Operations; Vice President, Sales Support Operations Residential Market; Senior Vice President, Worldwide Customer Service Wholesale Services; and Vice President, Transmission Engineering and Access Management.
Dana also has public board experience, prior to this European assignment she sat on the board of directors for First Interstate Bank headquartered in Billings, MT. During her tenure on the board First Interstate grew from a $4B community bank to over $14 billion. Dana was the chair of the technology committee and sat on both the risk and compensation committees. She is also on the Dean’s Leadership Council for the college of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University where her daughter Emma is an engineering student. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Denver and a master’s in business administration from Northwestern University–Kellogg School of Management.
