Civil Engineering
Designer, Northeastern University
"While at Syracuse University, I was exposed to a very diverse set of people, ideas, and aspects engineering. My classes covered each sub discipline of civil engineering, allowing me the opportunity to gain knowledge in a wide range of skills. This helped me stand out amongst other applicants when applying for jobs and internships, as well as helping me uncover which facet of civil I liked most. Outside of class, my extracurricular activities kept me plenty busy with super fun activities within and around campus. These clubs and organizations allowed me to volunteer with the local community, host new events throughout campus, and help new students find their place as they started a new chapter. Everything I did while at Syracuse helped me grow as a person by showing me so many new experiences and people, which are vital to someone who wants a career in the built environment where you have to interact with all types of people and projects."
