An energy systems minor is available to all majors in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The mission of the program is to graduate engineers and computer scientists who will be able to make immediate impacts and eventually become leaders in Energy Systems related industries.
The minor has four distinct tracks:
- Thermo-mechanical energy systems
- Nuclear energy
- Renewable energy
- Electric Power
Enrollment Requirements
Admission to the energy systems minor is by permission of an academic advisor and requires students to be enrolled in a B.S. program in Engineering within the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Students with sufficient technical background from other Syracuse University Academic Units may be considered for admission to the minor in energy systems and such decisions will be made by the energy systems committee.
A maximum of 3 transfer credits allowed.
