Learn how to plan, design, construct, and maintain facilities for the public and private sectors such as buildings, bridges, tunnels, highways, transit, and water systems. - Collaborate with faculty on research projects at on- and off-campus institutes and labs, including the Construction Engineering Lab, the Structures/Materials Lab, the Geofoam Lab, the Geosynthetics Lab, and the Center for Environmental Systems Engineering.
- Explore the College of Engineering and Computer Science’s 20 clubs, student organizations and professional societies, such as the Syracuse chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Engineers Without Borders.
- Earn a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and an MBA from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management through the five-year H. John Riley Dual Engineering/MBA Program.
- Graduate and work at companies like Barton & Loguidice, Consigli, C&S Companies, Gilbane, Kiewit, Langan, NYS Department of Transportation, Ramboll, Turner Construction, Whiting-Turner, WSP and many others.
